What happens when you take inline skates and pimp them up out the window with specialized motors, springs, cushions, and other such matters? You get a lot of shonen rejects riding around like they're the next best thing, trying to fight it out for the top of the ranks. This is the world of Air Gear, where Air-Treks (A-T) reign freely. As per all the 'next best things', it's leaked into many parts of the world, affecting everything from the casual person to professional sports. But these matter not - what our series focuses on is how it affects the gangs of the streets, who call themselves Stormriders.

Kanon is no different than most of them in the fact that he rides A-T, but he is different in the fact that he is neutral while doing so. Instead of riding for a particular team's goals, he is a member of the seemingly all-female team Tool Tou Too, who live to service the other riders in whatever ways they might need. He is the tuner for the Thorn Queen of Sleeping Forest, making sure that her body is kept up and in total perfection in every way possible. The link between tuner and king is closer than any other, and he may have developed an unhealthy sort of attachment to her in the process.

But this is the way Kanon is. He's open and honest and he does everything to the fullest extent possible. 200% isn't enough, it has to be 500%. He's a contradictory kind of guy at times, somehow managing to be manipulative and honest at the same time, somehow managing to be both creepy and endearing at once.

While he trains others' bodies, he has not neglected his own. He's shown himself in canon to be capable of throwing a locker that contains a small teenage girl over 40 feet, an impressive feat in itself.

He has a natural affinity with music, and tends to utilize it in many of his speechforms. He also carries a sound amplifier device around on his back in a guitar case, which can modulate sound to very specific and incredible frequencies and resonances.
